FAQs
How much does LuxHire cost for employers?
Employers pay NZD $9.99 + GST per month for a business subscription (cancel anytime via PayPal). Unlocking a candidate’s CV has an additional per-CV fee.
Is LuxHire free for job seekers?
Yes. Creating and maintaining a candidate profile is free.
How do you keep candidate listings fresh?
- Job seekers press “Keep me active” when they log in to stay visible for 30 days.
- If not pressed for 30 days, the profile becomes inactive (hidden from employers).
- After 60 days of inactivity, the profile may be deleted (we may retain minimal audit records to meet legal obligations).
Do you show employer names to candidates?
No. We do not display employer names to candidates during viewing/unlock. Employers remain responsible for their own outreach and due-diligence.
I can’t log in—what should I do?
- Check your email and password, or use “Forgot password”.
- Employers may be pending approval—you’ll see a notice in the portal.
- If it persists, email support@luxhire.co.nz.
What files can I upload?
CVs: .pdf, .doc, .docx. ID and photos: common image formats (.jpg/.png/.webp) or PDF.
Is LuxHire only for New Zealand?
LuxHire is NZ-focused, but global signups are allowed. Employers can filter for NZ-based or NZ-ready candidates.
Privacy and visibility
Your profile is visible to verified employers. Employers only see a full CV after paying to unlock. See our Privacy Policy.
Refunds & cancellations
- Subscriptions are non-refundable for the current period once it begins; you can cancel future renewals anytime via PayPal.
- CV unlocks are non-refundable after supply (when the CV is made available to view/download).
- For duplicate/technical billing errors, email support@luxhire.co.nz.
Are you an employment agency?
No. LuxHire is a connection platform. Employers remain solely responsible for suitability checks (e.g., right-to-work/visa, references) and compliance with the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and other laws.
